Dr. Hapworth has consulted over 150,000 patients during his psychiatric career. In 1985, he founded The Hapworth Center in New York City, which now sees 25,000 patient visits annually, and runs industry-sponsored clinical trials.

1) Psychiatric Consultant ad Riker’s Island Prison Complex for the most severely mentally ill inmates; 2) Psychiatric Consultant at Northern State Prison Residential Treatment Unit, where he created an innovative program to treat prisoners after New Jersey settled litigation to provide quality psychiatric care to all inmates; 3) Medical Director at St. James Hospital, where he established an innovative Detox Unit based on his inpatient model of treatment called “Chorus Therapy,” an intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy model; 4) Medical Director at St. Michael’s Hospital, where he created a first-of-its-kind psychiatric treatment facility at St. Michael’s Hospital; 5) Research Assistant at Brookhaven National Laboratories where he pioneered using Positron Transaxial Tomography (PETT) to research the brain abnormalities in depression; 6) Author with his wife Mada Hapworth Psy. D of “Mom Loved You Best” which has been translated into four languages and serves as a primer on adult sibling rivalry, and published in numerous scientific journals; 7) Patent holder for the drug Fluoxetine and its usage in Nicotine Withdrawal Syndrome; 8) Director of Treatment and Associate Clinical Director of Regent Hospital, a high-end addiction treatment facility.
Education
1) Doctor of Medicine with Honors in Psychiatry from Rutgers Medical School; 2) Residency in psychiatry at Bellevue/NYU Medical Center; 3) Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Psychopharmacology from Milhauser Laboratories, where he worked on NIMH grants.
Dr. Raval serves as scientist and public health expert in Manhattan over the last 15 years. C.B. has extensive training in tissue engineering and membrane transport as both a chemical and biomedical engineer and utilizes an interdisciplinary mindset to establish solutions across public health and medicine.

C.B. has produced value in the field via biotechnology commercialization, peer-reviewed research papers and crafting op-ed pieces supporting wellness and longevity. His approach is informed by Ayurveda, the study of life.
